FLOW Yoga

Flow or Vinyasa Yoga synchronizes breath and movement as you smoothly transition from one pose to another quite like a dance. In this class you will see a lot of variety but expect movement. Re-energize your body and mind as you focus on the power of breathing and flowing movement through the poses. You will be sure to see Sun Salutations so be prepared to sweat as this class is a more physical style of yoga. Suitable for people of all fitness levels.


HATHA

Stretch and strengthen your body from head to toe. Learn how to use your breath to calm the mind, ground into your sense of self, and to melt away any negativity in your heart. This class is designed to help bring you balance using yoga based postures as tools. There will be a focus on safety, alignment, and facilitating a healthy flow of Prana in students of all levels of experience.


CHill yoga

You want stretch?? I'll show you a stretch! You will flow through poses seamlessly and feel like you've REALLY stretched the body. This class is much slower than a flow class and will include a super deep bendy sesh.


YIN yoga

Yin yoga is a slow and passive stretching class that works on the deep, dense (Yin) connective tissues and joints in the body. This class is much more static and you will be mostly laying down or seated…compared to a more active stretch that you will find in a Hatha or Flow class.

All levels welcome to this class of hatha/flow/restorative yoga with various contemplative practices that will close your Sunday in the most nourishing ways.

 

BARRE FITNESS

Meet you @THE BARRE! Jenni’s kinesiology and ballet background knock it out of the park in this Barre class like no other. See results fast in a fun, upbeat environment. Warm up starts with light free weights and high rep exercises to tighten and tone arms and shoulders and then MOVErs post up at the barre for a major booty workout. Class ends with some Core and stretch to balance things out for a workout your whole body will love! Former dancers love being back at the barre in this class, and movers with no dance experience dig the lengthening and flexibility gains that come along with Barre work.

PILATES + MORE

 
 

pilates

Pilates increases flexibility, strength, balance, and endurance to develop control throughout the entire body. Emphasis on breath and alignment are key and exercises can be modified to range from beginner to advanced within each class. This class is well suited to any age or fitness level. Build lean muscle and tone while working out that power house core.


core fitness

This class is hardCORE......see what i did there! We at MOVE call this the power hour. While there is a focus on the core, you will strengthen and tone your entire body in this fitness style class.


Mobility

Mobility is a movement-based practice that works on improving ranges of motion, balance, coordination, agility and functional strength. This class will have some yoga components but it also includes some new moves and stretches you might be unfamiliar with. This class is developed to help you get to know your own body and your own limitations much better, as well as teach you how to keep your body safe in movement so you can prevent injury.

HIP HOP

Come and get your groove on! This hip hop class is about feeling the music and having fun. We will be working on practicing different grooves while pushing our cardio. We will also be learning combos and simple choreography to put together all of those skills and step outside our comfort zones. Come for a good time and even more fun!

Bring some shoes for this one!

 

moveit

Work your body, brain and coordination in this fun filled combo class!! You are going to hit aaaaaaallll the marks with this one. MOVE through a yoga flow, dance your face off, get in some core work and finish this dopeness with a Savasana. Sounds perfect? We think so.

No dance experience necessary and it fun for all fitness levels

BALLET BARRE (45 mins)

This is a ballet class folks! Not to be confused with barre fitness! Tutus and tiaras all the way in this one! This is a mixed level ballet technique class. Great for MOVErs that have a background in dance and want to brush off the ole ballet shoes. Also great for the ballet curious! MOVE-ing through a basic barre practice. See ya at the BARRE……
